My newest obsession is the Aerial and Fire arts and all the different genres that come with it. When the Burlesque scene, which I am a giant supporter of through my imagery, started incorporating more “circus” performers into their shows, it opened up an entirely new visual art that I couldn’t help be enthralled with; the forms, shapes, lines, lighting, curves…everything. It’s like capturing Angels who seduce with their flight and Demons who entrance with their flames. The results I have been able to create have been a new flame to my creative drive and I am very eager to see where my new Friendships will lead this imagery to. So many possibilities…
The latest show I was fortunate to photograph was with Detroit Flyhouse at the Village Theater at Cherry Hill in Canton, MI over the Valentines Day Weekend. (These are but a few of the hundreds of images I offered to the performers…) To all the performers, thank you. Your hard work, dedication and passion are what make these images as beautiful. To Micha Adams and your wonderful team at Detroit Flyhouse, thank you for your trust in me and the support of my images over the years. It means more than you will ever realize.
